Introduction to Cheng Cheng Martial Arts Stadium

1.Location:It is located at 96, Chung Cheng 1st Road, Lingya District, Kaohsiung City. Neighboring Sun Yat-Sen Freeway, it is within easy access by exiting the Chung Cheng interchange and 15 minutes away from the international airport. After the completion of the MRT, the transportation will be more convenient. Now, there are 6 halls in the Stadium, providing facilities for all sorts of martial arts activities.

2.Area and Capacity:Total Area:16,249㎡ ,Capacity:70,000 seats.

3.Facilities:
   (1)It is separated into the Eastern and Western Zone, with 3 halls in each of them, with
       am area of 29m*21m each. Around 620 ㎡ .In the basement and the ground floor   
      (unmovable audience stage), the audience zones can accommodate 600 people.
      On the 2nd and 4nd Floors(including movable audience stage; with fixed audience
      zones in the 3rd and 5rd Floors), the audience stages can accommodate 1,400
      people each. In the 3rd and 5th floor of each hall, there is a music control room for
      broadcasting and music playing. Further, there are an AV room, aerobics studio, etc.
(2)Disable elevators, accesses, toilets, and audience zones.

4.Original Purpose:To provide site and facilities for holding martial arts activities and competition, such as karate, taekwondo, weightlifting, wrestling, boxing, etc.

5.Venue for World Games sports:Powerlifting, BodyBuilding, Climbing, Karate.

6.Events held in the past:International Chinese-Japanese Kendo invitation Contest, National Northern and Southern Kendo Competition, Mayor's Cup 8 people Tug of war Contest,National Karate Performance Contest, Ture-Dragon Cup National youth Badminton Ranking Contest, Mayor's Cup Taekwondo Contest, Chung Cheng Cup Kung-Fu Contest, etc.
